Our journey began with a simple yet powerful vision: to cultivate a community of highly skilled, confident, and environmentally conscious diving professionals. Founded by Luca Pelizzari, a PADI Course Director with over two decades of global experience, Élite Diving Academy is the result of a lifelong dedication to both the underwater world and the art of teaching.
Luca’s career has taken him from the crystal-clear waters of Sardinia to the vibrant reefs of the Maldives, Indonesia, and Africa. Over the years, he has trained and mentored hundreds of divers, always with the same goal: to equip them not just with technical skills but with the mindset and adaptability to thrive in the diving community.

This network operates in eight key regions—Italy, Australia, the UK, Singapore, the UAE, Spain, China, and Mexico—ensuring that our programs are adaptable to different markets while maintaining consistently high standards.
Our training is always conducted at PADI 5 Star IDC Centers or Resorts, ensuring access to industry-leading facilities and a safe, effective learning environment for our instructor candidates.

About Luca Pelizzari
Born in Montebelluna, Italy, and now based in Sardinia, I’ve dedicated my life to diving, teaching, and training new divers.
I started my journey as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor in 1999, at the age of 20, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of working across the globe—in Sardinia, the Maldives, Indonesia and East Africa. These international experiences have given me deep insights into diverse marine environments, teaching techniques, and industry dynamics.
Now, as a PADI Course Director, I specialize in professional-level training, sharing my expertise with aspiring instructors from all walks of life. My goal is to empower the next generation of diving professionals, giving them the tools to explore the world, connect with diverse communities, and create exceptional underwater experiences for divers worldwide.
